My name is Becca and I’m a senior at the University of Pittsburgh studying Linguistics, French Studies, and Religious Studies. Born and raised in Sylvania, Ohio, I spent the first seventeen years of my life as a picky eater. Thankfully, I’ve outgrown that stage and now I’m an avid eater of all things (especially desserts).
I’m currently Editor-in-Chief of Spoon University Pitt, an online food publication by college students, for college students. My experiences with this culinary collegiate publication have prepared me to intern with Delicious Israel this summer in Tel Aviv. I’m looking forward to spending eight weeks in Israel, exploring the country using my tastebuds and updating this blog with the results.
When I’m not trying to get the perfect foodstagram, you can find me writing and editing articles for Spoon Pitt, pinning recipes online, or testing them out in the kitchen. Things that make me happy include making lists, crossing items off of those lists, the Chicago Blackhawks, and Marnie the dog.
